Dr. Sripriya Rajagopalan (“Dr. Raj”) completed Medical school, with Distinction, at Thanjavur Medical College, TN MJR Medical University, Madras, India. She was the Gold Medallist in the Surgical Specialty Training. She then completed her Ophthalmology training at the Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai, India. There, she received Honours, as well as a Masters in Science in Ophthalmology and a Diplomate of the National board of Ophthalmology.
She then pursued addition training in the United Kindgom, receiving accreditation from both the Royal College of ophthalmologists London and the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. She worked as a specialist in the University Hospital Aintree, Liverpool, with a special interest in Neuro-Ophtalmology beginning in 2007. She also had a surgical and aesthetic practice in the United Kingdom from 2013-2016.
Dr. Raj moved to British Columbia in 2016, after completing her Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She is also qualified as a family physician and is a member of the Canadian College of Family Physicians.
